The Commercial Hotel Morpeth is an historic hotel situated in the heart of beautiful Morpeth, located opposite the Morpeth Bridge and overlooking the Hunter River. The Commercial is family owned and operated. It is a hotel where you will be greeted warmly and before long your name will be known. The Commercial has a strong focus on food and wine. The hotel Bistro is open 7 days for Lunch & Dinner, with indoor and outdoor dining, airconditioning and an open fire. The Bistro Menu changes seasonally and is complimented by daily specials. We endeavour to support and shop locally and use the freshest ingredients we can source. There is something different on offer every day of the week - including Trivia, a member Badge Draw, Dart Competitions, Social Raffles, Quoits and Live Music (every 2nd Saturday). Whilst these are pub staples, our events have more flavour than most and are housed in a homely, familiar and jovial environment. During the year there are great festivals and events held in and around the Commercial - including the Chapel Jazz Festival, Anzac Day celebrations, Melbourne Cup and live music including some great artists and performers.
